It is one of the holiest temple in India which is famous for its value and situation. It is situated in Jammu and kashmir ( India ) . It is located at an altitude of 12,756 feet and it is been there for 5000 years and it is dedicated to lord shiva. It was said that the cave of Amarnath was discovered by shepherd named Buta Malik. It was believed that a Saint gave him a bag full of coal to Buta Malik. When he opened the bag after reaching home, he found the bag full of gold coins. This made Buta Malik an utter surprise and he ran searching the saint to thank him but the saint was disappeared.On searching the saint, he found the holy cave and the Shiva Lingam. From then that place has become a sacred place for the Pilgrimage.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 01: JAMMU – SRINAGAR TRANSFER BY COACH ~ 300 KMS {9 – 10 HRS.}

By the evening assemble at Jammu Bus stand to catch your Coach to Srinagar. Overnight journey by road.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM TRANSFER ~ 96 KMS {3 HRS. DRIVE}

Pick up from Srinagar bus stand and transfer by car to Pahalgam. En-route visit Saffron fields, Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. On arrival check in your hotel & relax. Dinner & overnight stay at Pahalgam.

DAY 03: PAHALGAM – PANCHTARANI – AMARNATH JI – PAHALGAM – PAHALGAM

After breakfast we will drop you at Pahalgam (Helipad). Pahalgam – Panchtarni –Pahalgam helicopter ride. The Helicopter start operating at 06.30 Hrs (Weather Permitting). Panjtarni is approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After darshan return back to Panchtarani to board helicopter to Pahalgam.

On arrival at Pahalgam Check in your hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Pahalgam.

DAY 04: PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR BY CAR # SRINAGAR – JAMMU BY COACH

After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer you to Srinagar. On arrival we will drop you at Srinagar bus stand to catch your Coach to Jammu.

Srinagar – Jammu overnight journey by coach.
